Bookboost’s messaging tool is developed and operated by Bookboost, organization number: 559091-8974. All user personal information is considered private. Bookboost does not share any personal information of its users with 3rd parties.
Personal information is stored on Bookboost’s servers, which are located in Germany and Ireland. Germany and Ireland are a member states of European Union.
Bookboost protects personal information with use of latest industry standards and security measures. Communication between Bookboost’s messaging tool and Bookboost’s servers is secured by SSL/TLS encryption (secure sockets layer / transport layer security). Communication between Bookboost’s servers and Bookboost’s dashboard is also secured by SSL/TLS encryption. Personal information is stored on Bookboost’s servers and complies with TIER 3+ security standard.
Bookboost’s users can access and edit his/her personal information after signing in his Bookboost account at https://app.bookboost.io. To sign in, the user has to know his/her login credentials. There is no way to access personal information without knowing the login credentials, therefore no unauthorized party can access it. The sign in process - same as the whole account and domain https://app.bookboost.io - is also secured with SSL/TLS encryption.
Bookboost might, but is not obliged to, collect following information. All personal information mentioned below is considered private and is handled according to this privacy statement.
1. User personal information: personal info of companies or individuals who created an account on Bookboost’s website and/or are using Bookboost’s messaging tool. Upon account creation, a user has to fill in his name/company email address and a password. User can change or update this information after signing in his/her account.
2. Visitor personal information: visitors of bookboost.io website, or visitors of any website where Bookboost’s messaging tool is used, might enter personal information into the Bookboost messaging tool. This information is stored on Bookboost’s servers.
Every Bookboost user has access to personal information of visitors of his website, where he is using Bookboost messaging tool. Because the visitor provided the personal information on website of the Bookboost user, this creates a legal relation between the Bookboost user and visitor of this website. Bookboost user can access and handle personal information of his visitors collected through Bookboost messaging tool placed on his website. Bookboost user should handle the personal information of his users according to his own privacy policy and/or terms & conditions. Bookboost is in no way responsible for behavior or acts of Bookboost users in connection to handling visitor personal information. Protection and handling of visitor personal information collected by the Bookboost user is in sole responsibility of the Bookboost user.
3. Technical information: while using Bookboost’s messaging tool, certain technical data about visitors might be collected by Bookboost, e.g. IP address, type and version of browser, type and version of operating system, approximate location etc.
While using Bookboost messaging tool or other Bookboost services, temporary files, known as Cookie files, can be stored and processed by Bookboost.
